Do I look calm... peacefully posing for artistic purposes?
Wrong.
My heart was beating at around a million beats a second. There were cars whizzing by on a very busy highway to which I was pretty much in full view, I had to climb up those dodgy-looking things bolted to the wall to get up there, it was high and damn scary!
Besides the fact we had already scaled some rather large rocks and a mighty big fence to illegally enter this place to begin with. I am continuously frustrated with the lack of locations where one can be naked and relaxed at the same time, especially now that I am a city-dweller. And also apparently a law-breaker.
Despite all that, it put a pretty exciting edge to a would-be 'normal' Thursday afternoon, and I'd do it again tomorrow if I could find another excuse.

wow, great frame. Beautiful long shot. Mysterious. Can't see the face. ALL you can see is the creamy skin ending at the dark spot of the pubes. I luv this. This is art.

Great to have you back! Glad to see you dareing and bareing it all again. I trust India was awesome, hope you can stay in touch when you go back!
ReplyDeleteFor the city dwelling lawbreakers who lift a thousand hearts:
ReplyDelete"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there...
This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment..."
--Rumi
Wonderful. I absolutely love the subject and composition of this photo. If I had my druthers living in a large city say San Francisco, New York, Paris, London . . . would be mine. A downtown loft, time to wander, photograph, enjoy the food, people, sights, sounds and integrate into this environment would be a gift, something to treasure.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the City experience for one day you'll be elsewhere and think back on these times and think "I miss that".....and you will, Chica. You will.
Momentextase thanks for quoting Rumi, I love that one. He is amazing and his poetry affirms my connection with that which is beyond...I place which I inhabit most of the time :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! That is such a good place to inhabit, no matter how much time you spend there, or where you are.
ReplyDeleteI read you two were reading Rumi so I could not resist quoting him, those two lines jumped into my mind when I read the story of your adventure.
Rumi talked so often about "two worlds" and dualities like shadow and sun. Or maybe naked and scared in your case? Excited and nervous? Anyway, it is inspring to see spirits that know the beyond embrace the two worlds, and then take that and all beyond.
Thanks you for your thanks, and your art. xx
